Spring Workshop on Cyber Security with its Focus on Digital Forensics

May 30th - June 1, 2018 - Texas Tech University - Main Campus - Lubbock, TX, USA.

Workshop Goals:

  • Sponsor: National Science Foundation (NSF)
  • Description: This workshop has its focus on cyber security and more specifically digital forensics for university and college professors and instructors. The capacity building project is funded by a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant that aims at promoting cyber-security education. The program provides educational opportunities in the digital forensics related areas. This event is the first workshop in this series.

  • Presenters 1) Researchers and educators active in cyber security education and research, and 2) the SANDIA National Laboratories.
  • Eligibility 1) Be a faculty/instructor/teacher lecturing at a university or a college, and 2) Have interest in cyber security education and in particular digital forensics.
  • Required Documents : A completed online application form
  • Application Deadline : The online application form should be submitted by May 1, 2018.
  • Benefits : The final participants will receive up to $1,400 (depending on the distance between your home town and Lubbock the amount would vary) in the form of reimbursement to cover their transportation, accommodation, and meal for their participation in the workshop to be held in Lubbock, TX, USA during the period of May 30th - June 1st.

    • The Sandia National Labroatories is the project partner providing expertise in cyber security to the Project Investigators.
