About Me

I am an associate professor of philosophy at Texas Tech University. I completed my PhD from the University of California, Irvine (LPS).

My primary areas of research are in philosophy of language and metaethics, specifically on racial pejoratives, structured propositions, and normative language, generally. I have additional interests in philosophy of mind, philosophy of race, and philosophical logic.

I am currently working on a book project on ideology and propaganda (co-authored with Robert May).

I am a member of the AAUP and I support academic freedom.
