Motivation & Research Goals

This two-year project will build educational materials and modules for promoting digital forensics education and training. The education materials will be based on open-source tools developed for inspecting digital evidence. The modules then will be integrated into a collaborative platform through which the materials are delivered through an incident response scenario.

Specific Objectives

Build an educational platform for the purpose of promoting digital forensics education with specific focuses on:

  1. building modules based on open-source digital forensics tools.
  2. offering an online course on digital forensics.
  3. building an educational and collaborative platform for digital forensics.
